Annual Day Celebration – Day 2 - ‘The Guru Shishya Bond – A Transcendental Journey of Learning’

Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur celebrated the Annual Day for Grades III to V on 7th December, 2025 with the inspiring theme ‘The Guru Shishya Bond – A Transcendental Journey of Learning’.
The event began with the arrival of the guests and the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome and an insightful welcome address by the Principal, Ms. Yogeeta Umalkar. The presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Vijay Vikram Singh, an award-winning voice artist, actor, motivational speaker, and the renowned narrator of popular shows, added immense value to the celebration. His motivating words left a deep impact on the audience.

Ms. Tulika Kedia, President and Pro-Vice Chairperson, Delhi Public School Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur graced the event virtually and shared her heartfelt wishes for the students. Ms. Savita Jaiswal, Director of Delhi Public School, Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur, attended the programme in person and also read out a special message sent by Ms. Tulika Kedia, who expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the students and staff, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence.  Mr. Indrajeet Parganiha, Bursar, Delhi Public School Kamptee Road and MIHAN and Ms. Nidhi Yadav, Principal, Delhi Public School MIHAN, Nagpur also graced the occasion with their presence.

The programme also celebrated Ms. Anjali Singh, proud alumna of DPS Kamptee Road, Batch of 2016, for her success in the UPSC Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2025, and was followed by an award ceremony honouring outstanding achievements in academics and co-curricular activities. The highlight of the evening was a magnificent presentation celebrating teachers and their role in shaping successful students and citizens. Through expressive narrations, graceful dances and powerful enactments, students showcased the teacher–student bond across eras. Vibrant costumes and coordinated movements brought each period to life, while the school band added energy and rhythm to the atmosphere.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, marking the close of a spectacular evening. The seamless organisation, captivating performances and elegant stage decor made the programme truly memorable for every parent and guest. The event reflected the school’s commitment to excellence, cultural learning and holistic growth, leaving the audience inspired by the timeless values of guidance, gratitude and learning.
