Inter-School STEM Challenge ‘INFINITY 2025’

Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur hosted the Inter-School STEM Challenge ‘INFINITY 2025’ on 30th August, 2025. The event served as an engaging platform for the students from various schools to showcase their talent, exchange ideas and compete in diverse STEM-based activities. It aimed to nurture critical thinking, creativity and collaborative learning while encouraging young minds to find innovative solutions for real-world challenges.

The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Gyan Prakash Singh, Professor, Department of Mathematics and Dean (Faculty Welfare), Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. The programme was also graced by an esteemed panel of judges who evaluated the competitions. 

The virtual presence of Ms. Tulika Kedia, President and Pro-Vice Chairperson, Delhi Public School Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur added significance to the event.  She extended her heartfelt wishes, commending the efforts of the students.

Ms. Savita Jaiswal, Director of Delhi Public School Kamptee Road and MIHAN, who graced the occasion virtually, sent her warm wishes, appreciating the creativity displayed in the competitions and encouraging the students to continue exploring. 

The challenge featured a wide range of competitions such as Novelty, Doodling My Mind, Toon the Topic, Mind Striker, Innovate to Illuminate, Real to Reel, Math Talk, Math Maverick and Math Reel Mania, Mythomech and Web Wizardry. Each category encouraged the students from different grades to explore their potential and present imaginative ideas. From dressing up as renowned scientists and delivering inspiring presentations to creating eco-friendly models, designing math-based games, crafting science documentaries and delivering thought-provoking talks, participants impressed the audience with their originality, confidence and scientific acumen.

The competitions reflected a seamless blend of knowledge and creativity. The students demonstrated not only scientific understanding but also innovation and problem-solving skills, embodying the true spirit of the event. The insightful feedback from the Chief Guest and judges provided valuable learning experiences for all participants, motivating them to refine their skills and pursue excellence in STEM fields.

The Principal, Ms. Yogeeta Umalkar, in her address, highlighted the significance of STEM education in shaping the innovators and problem-solvers of tomorrow. The event concluded with the declaration of results, followed by the distribution of certificates, prizes and the prestigious Rolling Trophy. The Vote of Thanks acknowledged the efforts of the organising team, participants and mentors whose dedication contributed to the grand success of the event.

The event proved to be a celebration of innovation, collaboration and scientific curiosity, leaving every participant inspired to continue their journey of exploration and discovery.
