Annual Fete 'Fun Velocity 2024'
DPS Kamptee Road, #Nagpur hosted its Annual Fete ‘Fun Velocity 2024’ on Saturday, 10th February, 2024. The fete featured fun and frolic games, exciting rides, DJ Beat Bonanza, Shop Stop Zone, food court, art zone and to add to the excitement, a Fashion Show based on the theme ‘Culture and Heritage Celebrating our Roots’. The students of Grade VIII of Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur took the initiative and left no stone unturned in making it a grand success. Mr. Pranav Agarwal and Mrs. Charu Agarwal, the Chief Guests, Ms. Tulika Kedia, President and Pro-Vice Chairperson of DPS Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur, Mr. Pramod Shende, Special Guest, Ms. Nidhi Yadav, Principal, DPS MIHAN, Shri Indrajeet Parganiha, Bursar, DPS Kamptee Road & MIHAN, Nagpur and Ms. Yogeeta Umalkar, Principal, DPS Kamptee Road, Nagpur declared the fete open. Ms. Savita Jaiswal. Director, DPS Kamptee Road & MIHAN, Nagpur extended her best wishes for the event.
The Fashion show 'Sanskriti' witnessed a huge number of participation from the parents and students. They teamed up and flaunted their flair in traditional clothing. They elevated their fashion with accessories, music and danced to the rhythms of songs originating from a particular region. The event was evaluated by two highly accomplished individuals in the fashion industry, Ms. Sonali Arora, Director of Modify Salon and Makeup Academy, and Ms. Rutuja Duragkar, a Lawyer, HR Consultant and Educational Trainer. They carefully assessed the participants with their extensive expertise and announced the winners. Mr. Kanak Bhowmik, a renowned Fashion Director, Model Coach and Personality Groomer, graced the show as a distinguished celebrity guest.
