Summer Camp Final Showcasing
The summer Camp at DPS Kamptee Road culminated in a grand final showcase on 2nd May, 2026, celebrating the learning, creativity and achievements of the students. The event was graced by the enthusiastic presence of parents who gathered to witness their child’s performances and appreciate their progress. Their encouragement and applause created a warm and supportive atmosphere, making the occasion even more special for the students.
The dance performances in Freestyle, Contemporary, Hip-Hop and Locking-popping were vibrant and energetic, reflecting the effort and practice put in by the students. The Zumba presentation added a lively and joyful touch, creating an atmosphere of celebration and excitement. The certificates and medals were distributed, making the moment even more memorable for the young participants.
The music segment showcased the students’ progress in semi-classical and rhythmic Indian music. Performances on drums, tabla, synthesiser and guitar highlighted their understanding of rhythm and coordination, while the vocal presentations displayed their learning of raga and expression. Each performance reflected confidence, dedication and the guidance provided throughout the camp.
The creative exhibition displayed a wide range of student work in art and craft, clay modelling, pottery and digital design. The students proudly presented their creations, demonstrating imagination and skill. The Robotics showcase attracted great interest as the students explained and demonstrated the functioning of their robots. The Tech Explorers segment further highlighted their digital learning through presentations of animations, games and creative projects, along with fun elements like digital awards and a collaborative memory wall capturing their favourite moments.
The sports showcasing added excitement with matches and demonstrations in football, cricket, basketball, badminton, hockey, handball and pickleball. The skating demonstrations displayed balance and control, while karate featured energetic kumite matches. The swimming performances included freestyle and backstroke, reflecting improved technique and confidence in the water. The event concluded on a proud and fulfilling note, marking the successful completion of the summer camp and leaving the students with cherished memories and valuable learning experiences.
