The seventh day of the Summer Camp at DPS Kamptee Road was filled with enthusiasm and focused practice as the students geared up for their final showcasing. The dance sessions saw the students practising their routines in freestyle and contemporary styles with special attention to leg movements and synchronisation. In Hip-Hop and locking-popping, the second stanza was further developed with new steps, while the Zumba sessions included a full workout routine along with choreography practice and stamina-building drills, creating a perfect balance of fitness and fun.
 
In the music segment, the students revised the second stanza in semi-classical and rhythmic Indian music and prepared for their final presentation. The instrumental sessions included practising waltz rhythm on drums, simple fill patterns on tabla and hand percussion. The students also practised the song with rhythm on synthesiser and guitar. The vocal group focused on overall rehearsal, refining their raga performance with better pitch and expression, ensuring readiness for the final showcase.
 
The creative sessions continued to inspire imagination as the students explored print making, 3-D paper craft and clay modelling, where they created and coloured a 3D floral relief painting. The Digital design activities introduced colouring the pencil box packaging design, allowing the students to experiment with layout and creativity. The Tech Explorers segment focused on developing smart digital skills, where the students learnt safe search practices, participated in a ‘Search Race’ activity and created mini digital projects using tools like Google Slides and Canva, along with brainstorming ideas through AI tools.
 
The sports activities remained engaging and skill-oriented, with the students learning defending basics in football and practising overall skills in pickleball. The cricket sessions focused on bowling action, throwing techniques and round-arm bowling, while handball introduced attacking strategies with half-court fast breaks. The skating sessions included cross-step turning and basketball involved match rules and gameplay. The students also practised forehand lift in badminton and learnt profitable exchange strategies in chess. The hockey sessions involved mini games and karate focused on kumite fighting techniques. The swimming sessions emphasised back floating with a board, kicking techniques, breathing control and coordination through backstroke practice. The day concluded on a productive and confident note, with the students showing readiness and excitement for the upcoming finale.
