Grandparents are the pillars of every family. DPS Kamptee Road, #Nagpur, celebrated #Grandparents' Day with a lot of fun activities. One of the highlights of the celebration was the Traditional Ramp Walk, where grandparents walked the ramp with their grandchildren, adorned in traditional attire. It was heartwarming to see them participate with such enthusiasm.

Recognising that grandparents are not only a treasure trove of knowledge and values but also creative, we organised a 'Best out of Waste' competition. The event included various fun-filled activities, one of which was 'Junk to Joy'. This activity aimed to engage grandparents in creative recycling activities, fostering their creativity and environmental awareness. They were tasked with creating a creative piece using materials like jute, old clothes, coconut shells, ice cream sticks, etc.

The grandparents amazed everyone with their creativity, proving that age is just a number. Later, they were felicitated by our Vice Principal and the Guest of Honour, Ms. Yasmine Dupattawala. The event was a grand success.
