The students and staff of DPS Kamptee Road, #Nagpur, gathered together to celebrate the momentous occasion of #Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, setting the tone for the event.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Lt. Col. Jasbeer Singh, who was warmly welcomed by the Principal, Ms. Yogeeta Umalkar. In her welcome speech, the Principal emphasized the significance of Independence Day and encouraged everyone to uphold the values of freedom and unity.

The talented students of DPS Kamptee Road presented a beautiful choir performance, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervour. Three insightful speeches were delivered by students, who reflected the essence of Independence Day, highlighting the struggles, sacrifices and triumphs of India's freedom fighters. A vibrant dance performance was presented, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of our nation. The energetic and colourful performance mesmerized the audience, celebrating the diversity and spirit of India. The Chief Guest, Lt. Col. Jasbeer Singh, shared his thoughts with the gathering, inspiring students to become responsible citizens and contribute to the nation's growth. His words of wisdom resonated with the audience, leaving a lasting impact. Ms. Tulika Kedia, President and Pro Vice Chairperson of Delhi Public School Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur and Ms. Savita Jaiswal, Director Delhi Public School Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur sent their best wishes to the students and staff on the auspicious occasion.

The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Siya Jha, the Cultural Head Girl and Gaurang Gajbhiye, the Cultural Head Boy expressed appreciation for all the support and participation. The celebration was a resounding success, instilling a sense of national pride and unity among the students and staff.
