DPS Kamptee Road, #Nagpur embraced the joyous festival of Diwali by hosting a vibrant #Diwali Mela on 4th November, 2023. The event welcomed students, parents, friends, and relatives, infusing an extra spark of joy into this celebratory occasion. The venue was magical, filled with vibrant colors from beautiful diyas, sparkling fairy lights, and stunning rangoli designs. It created a cheerful and exciting atmosphere, full of anticipation. The Diwali Mela had something for everyone. Kids enjoyed fun games and exciting challenges, their laughter echoing joy throughout the air. For the youngsters, there were engaging games and exciting challenges. The joy and laughter of children echoed throughout the premises, creating a jubilant atmosphere. The special attraction of the day was the ‘Twining Ramp Walk’ in which the participants adorned in exquisite traditional attire, exuded grace and elegance as they walked the ramp. RJ Sayalee, an esteemed fashion expert known for her discerning eye, meticulously evaluated each participant's walk, taking into consideration their confidence, poise, and style. To add an element of creativity, various stalls were set up to engage attendees in interactive activities. There were art and craft corners such as traditional rangoli-making, nail art, tattoo, mehendi (henna) application and tarot card reading. The stalls were abuzz with eager participants, eager to learn and create beautiful masterpieces. While strolling through the Mela, the alluring aroma of freshly cooked dishes filled the air, delighting the senses and satisfying everyone's appetite. Overall, the Diwali Mela organised by DPS Kamptee Road, Nagpur was a resounding success, bringing together people from all walks of life to celebrate the festival of lights. It exemplified the spirit of togetherness, positivity, and cultural unity. The memories created during this delightful event will be cherished and will further strengthen the bonds within the community.
